THE MESSAGE

Child of God, yesterday we looked at enduring hardship as a good soldier of Christ. Today, I have come to remind you that your God is mighty-He is mightier than the mightiest, stronger than the strongest, and wiser than the wisest. He said you should endure hardness not because His hands are too short to save you or because He is incapacitated in any way. He said you should endure hardness because it will produce a necessary virtue in your life.

God is still very much in the business of saving people and as our scripture today says, He will rejoice over you with joy and singing. When you go through the fire, He is with you. And through the storm, He has assured that no evil will befall you. He will give you peace in the storm if you learn to lean completely on Him. I choose to remind you of this fact today so that you don’t think God has forsaken you or believe that He is not able to deliver you.

He said you should endure hardness because of the future He sees ahead of you. Everything you pass through today occurs for a purpose: to keep you ready for the glory of tomorrow. The experiences you have are meant to toughen your spiritual muscles and deepen your commitment to Him who has called you. Know that He is faithful who has called you and that He will do all he says.

I don’t care what you are going through right now. That is not the focus. Your focus should be on what God has spoken over you. Keep your eyes locked on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Surely, God will come through. His arm will bring you out and you will rejoice. The all sufficient God will visit you at the very point of your need.
