Light will always overrule darkness. Truth will always triumph. When Joseph was framed and wrongly accused, you probably thought he would say, “Enough of this being the best!” and quit, thereby conforming to the world’s standard and running away from the challenge. But that is not what happened with Joseph. He was taken to a jail where somebody else was in charge but the moment Joseph arrived, he became the best and was again put in charge. Joseph gave his best even in jail! This is because Joseph knew a secret that we must all acknowledge today: beloved, you carry the Kingdom. You are to be a blessing to somebody.
A child of the Kingdom can never be in chains. Others may lock the door against you but at the appointed time an earthquake will break every chain. No one can bind a new creation because you are too well equipped to fail, be destroyed, or be put down. Like a ball, the harder others throw you against the floor, the higher you will go.
In prison, Joseph met Pharaoh’s baker and his butler, who were sad because of the dreams they had had. Joseph went to them because he knew he had in him the ingredient that could change their condition. While still in chains, Joseph interpreted their dreams and they were happy. He told them to remember him when they got to Pharaoh but he was forgotten for two years. However, the situation didn’t change his attitude, because he believed he was born to be the best.
Not long after that, Pharaoh himself had a dream that no one in the entire land could interpret because the prophetic calendar was pointing at Joseph. Even though Joseph was still in jail, the prophetic calendar broke right through the bars and pointed at him. Joseph interpreted the dream for Pharaoh. This singular act promoted Joseph beyond his wildest imagination. I encourage you to not relent. Keep being a blessing, continue to give your best, and heaven will smile on you in Jesus name.
