Bible Reading:

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Romans 5:1-2 (KJV)

Contrary to popular opinion that God is in heaven watching to see when you will dare make a small mistake so that His hammer will drop on you and hit you hard so that you end up in hospital, I come to let you know that God is not at all mad at you. God loves you and cares so much about you. You are indeed the apple of His eye. He loves you so much He gave Jesus for you. When He gave you Jesus, He gave you His best; when He gave you the Holy Ghost, He gave you His all. How then can He be mad at you? God loves you with an everlasting love. His love for you is undying. Nothing can stain it or divert it from you. He loves you unconditionally.

The last time I read my Bible, is still read God is love (1 John 4:8), John 3:16 “…God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” He does not know anything else than to love because He is love, He is disposed to giving to us. Whenever you see God, you will see Him giving good things.

Because I have believed in His precious gift to the world (Jesus Christ) I am justified by faith. I am just as if I have never sinned. Therefore I have access into His grace and I’ll rejoice with confident, expectation of nothing but glory, His goodness, best, excellence, riches, wealth and everything good. Stop expecting the hammer and start expecting GOODNESS.

As this year draws to a close, don’t count yourself out. God is still in the business of distributing gifts. He still has a package with your name on it. The best days are not over for you, rather they are just beginning. I know you may have slipped in the course of the year, but like Micah is bold to say: “rejoice not over me oh my enemy, when I fall, I shall arise. Arise in the power and strength of God”. Determine to finish this year strong and start the new year with a renewed strength and vigour trusting in the grace of God to give you all that you don’t deserve. Remember, GRACE is God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense.
