Bible Reading:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Acts 10:38 (KJV)

Luke the Doctor, who watched the ministry of Jesus first-hand, tells us in Acts 10:38 what distinguishes Him. It is not enough to hang around and say: “See how much I can pray in tongues?” No, you should seek to be anointed. God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost and power. He was anointed because wherever He went the problems He encountered came to an end. He went about doing good and healing those who were oppressed by the devil. Why? Because God was with Him.

To be anointed means that God is with you. Anointing brings God into your life. Anointing is being clothed with a God-like garment. To be anointed means that when you appear all problems around you are solved. Anointing deals with everything.

Consider the following benefits of being anointed.

  • Anointing makes you successful in life.
  • Anointing causes you to excel.
  • Where others fail, anointing enables you to succeed.
  • Anointing enables you to introduce Jesus to a given scene.

Beloved, I wouldn’t want you to miss out on any of God’s moves. According to the scriptures, “And these signs shall follow them that believe [. . .]” (Mark 16:17, KJV). If you are a believer, signs ought to follow you; you should not follow signs. In other words, when you appear there will be signs because of the anointing of God upon your life. I declare it a new era for you. The days of darkness and failure are over. The days of disappointment and frustration are over. It is your turn to testify.
